Since opening its doors in October 2020, the property has welcomed more than 285,000 guests and hosted over 1,200 group events, becoming the cornerstone for community in the Twin Cities and a destination for gatherings both large and small.

In a remarkable achievement, Omni Viking Lakes Hotel has performed as Omni’s #1 Overall Guest Experience in the brand for the last five years based on guest satisfaction scores measured through Medallia, a global leader in travel and hospitality guest experience survey. Viking Lakes Campus Growth

As the Viking Lakes campus continues to grow, major developments further enhance the hotel’s position as the center for activities at Viking Lakes:

• CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) opened its 40,000-square-foot Connection Center office, designed to host training and community events, in May 2025, bringing in over 9,000 employees.

• With large-scale events, such as the Premier Lacrosse League and Minnesota Ice Festival attracting a total of more than 300,000 visitors, the addition of Lago Tacos in July 2025 expanded the dining options available to guests and locals.

• MV Ventures is also prepared to deliver more luxury apartment rentals at Viking Lakes Residences as part of their third phase buildings which will include additional buildings and similar great amenities.
