3rd hair salon location in the Twin Cities to be near the Minnesota Vikings training facility and team headquarters, TCO Performance Center

Eagan, Minn. Velvaere Mae, a Nordic-themed Hair Lounge, Spa and Wellness concept, announced it will be opening its first Eagan location at the Viking Lakes campus; a spinoff of owner, Tiffany Wheelhouse’s existing Meraki Hair Lounge brand with two (2) other locations in Minneapolis and Saint Paul. The salon will be located at 730 Vikings Parkway, adjacent to Viking Lakes Residences, and in the same building as the recently announced Tavern Grill Restaurant + Bar. Both retail locations are set to open this summer.

Velvaere will be a full service, health and wellness-conscious salon that aligns beauty and wellness with a variety of hair treatments, healing and relaxation exercises, and more. Tiffany has a strong belief that providing stylists with a space that focuses on their overall health and wellbeing will amplify the client experience.  “Through coaching our staff to build their own independent businesses under our roof, we allow the service providers the freedom and flexibility to build their own workflow and balance with guidance, said owner, Tiffany Wheelhouse.  “It has been a true joy to see the work we put into our team reflect through our clients experience with us in the salon and we are ecstatic to bring this concept to the Viking Lakes community of Eagan”.

“As a destination live-work-play community, Viking Lakes’ vision is to create an environment that promotes a healthy, active lifestyle by cultivating the gold standard of well-being for the people of our community”, said Dave Stofer, Executive Director of Development with MV Ventures. “Tiffany’s experience and way with people was exactly the energy we wanted at Viking Lakes, and we are thrilled to be adding a truly destination form of service for the campus and community at large.
